I went to their site before purchasing and read everything on its installation, but then when I bought it and put it on my DVD player, I discovered a back page and read that when it gets to be 75 degrees or hotter outside (and the car can get up to 120 or more degrees), the strips peel off because the glue can't withstand the temperature. I am very irritated that this information wasn't on the website. I don't want to tote the DVD player inside with me whenever I am out during the summer and decide to 1) eat at a restaurant, 2) go shopping, or 3) see a movie. I wish I hadn't purchased it.

Lasted about a month. Velcro ripped off the strap, dvd player hanging from security hook. Even if it worked, keep in mind you are stuck with 2 pieces of velcro in the back of your player, so when you get it out of the car, it will stick to the table cloth at the restaurant or to your furniture at home.
UPDATE: Seller contacted me after reading my review, and sent me a new set of straps at no charge. We'll see what happens with this one. Still can't give it more stars.

This is a must have in my car, the other attempts I have made to support the portable DVD player were sloppy, in the way, hard to maneuver. This was so simple and perfect. I can just pull out the head rest and put it on another seat if I move the carseats or move the kids to the 3rd row. It is very secure and I like that I can just pull it off the velcro and go so the kids can keep watching at the store, Dr. office, etc.
